Leonore Gewessler and Andreas Stadler’s visit to the Choszczówka Library

A few days ago, our library was visited by the Austrian Minister for Climate Action and Environment.
Leonore Gewessler and Andreas Stadler, Ambassador of Austria to Poland, welcomed by the Mayor of Białołęka, Anna Majchrzak, paid particular attention to the use of wood as a low-carbon construction material. They confirmed that this approach is also increasingly used in Austria.
The meeting was co-hosted by the directors of the Warsaw Office of Air Protection and Climate Policy: Marcin Grądzki and Jacek Kisiel. We discussed the Warsaw Green Building Standard, a strategic document co-developed by Magdalena Pios, aimed at supporting Warsaw’s goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050.
